Fall Blogger Brunch Recap

Earlier this year I shared an article about 3 Books that Changed My Life and one of those was Year of Yes, by Shonda Rhimes. In the book, it challenges you to say "Yes" to all the opportunities that come your way no matter how much they scare you, challenge you, or get you out of your comfort zone. After reading the book, I accepted the challenge and decided I wanted to get out in the community more, network with like-minded bloggers. 👏🏾🎉

When a good friend of mine called and said she was launching her new company, BoldBabes, that networks women entrepreneurs - of course, I went - and boy, I was so glad I did! It really inspired me to get more active in the community with my brand and since I have had a background in event planning, I decided that I would put together a Blogger/Social Media Influencer Brunch. ☺️

I reached out to several vendors (and friends) who were kind enough to donate their time, talents and products to make the event spectacular and this past Saturday I hosted my first blogger brunch at UpInspiredKitchen in Frisco! As many of you know, Mike and his wife, Rae, have been nothing short of wonderful to us while we have built our brand. (Catch them on the vlog here!) Throughout the entire planning for the event, they were so kind, prompt to respond and the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs throughout the event. We had the T.A.S.T.E. Toast, UpCakes and Short Rib Grilled Cheese to sample a few different dishes on the menu. Because we are in Texas, it's not brunch without mimosas so we made sure to share a few Mimosa Platters.

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a sucker for a good bouquet! 💐 My first thought when planning was to find a local florist who would express her personality and create fall centerpieces for the event, without any input or instruction from me. 😉 Alicia at Charming at the Market did EXACTLY what was asked for and more. I have never met a florist who is more talented and a person is a more genuine to the core. It was a BEYOND a blessing to work with her. She'll be opening her new location at Dallas Farmers Market, Saturday, November 10th from 10a-6pm - definitely stop by if you have time!

VivicaChampagne is a lifestyle and champagne blogger who decorates and personalizes purchased bottles of wine/champagne for events. As soon as we connected she was so kind and so sweet. Bash and Vibe is one of my favorite gifting vendors! They provided personalized champagne glasses and created the girls names in laser engraved wood. (Catch them on the vlog here!)

DoperiiDesigns gave each of the attendees a "Champs drink Champs" print and KerrativeDesigns was kind enough to create place settings with each of the attendees names. She used a cardboard type paper for a fall/rustic feel and put each of the names in glitter. It turned out PERFECT!

When the girls arrived, we popped champagne 🍾 and got the party started. We had such a fun time discussing our goals, visions, struggles and plans for 2019. In the picture, you will see myself, Vivica of VivicaChampagne; Blogger, Taylor of GirlEatsDallas; Beauty Vlogger/Blogger, Taylor of Taylor-Alor; Madeline - Fashion + Finance Blogger; Mary - Balloon Decorator for Special Events; and Marjorie - DFW Lifestyle Blogger (OhMyMarr).

We ate. 😋 We vibed. 😍 We bonded. 😘 Insanely enough, we became this tribe who has since been sending encouraging texts to each other, sharing leads, and lifting each other up.. proving that women are stronger when we work together. ❤️👏🏾
