Original ChopShop, Exceptional Taste

January 21, 2019

This past weekend Original ChopShop hosted us at their Park Cities (HillCrest) location for some delicious food to fuel us up after a weekend trip to Oklahoma. With a relaxing, warm ambiance and health conscious menu; if you are looking to be more mindful about what you put in your body this year, this is one fast-casual restaurant that may become a staple in your weekly routine.

With a mission to make inviting meals that fuel your overall well being, the menu consists on juices, sandwiches, protein bowls, salads and breakfast options including some but not limited to gluten-free, dairy free and vegan options. Kids options are on the menu as well making it's the perfect spot for family night or to get small bites if you don't want a full meal.

We indulged in some delicious protein bowls, juices and split an acai bowl that was absolutely delicious. All bowls are served with roasted broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, chopped onions and carrots and your choice of brown rice, sweet potato hash, forbidden rice or quinoa. I opted for the Sweet Soy Seasame Steak (pictured above) that also came with green onions, sugar snap peas, and was garnished with sesame seeds. It was delicious, filling and we washed it down with the seasonal Blood Orange Tumeric Lemonade. It was so refreshing.

The acai bowl is blended with apple juice, mixed berry, banana, topped with granola, fresh strawberries, bananas and shredded coconut with an agave nectar drizzle. The one thing we instantly loved is that they layer the granola and frozen acai blend throughout the bowl so each bite is cold, crunchy and satisfying making for the perfect breakfast bowl, afternoon snack or dessert.

Original ChopShop has three locations in the Dallas area - Las Colinas, Legacy and Park Cities. Head in before Feb 1st to for your to try the Blood Orange Tumeric Lemonade and let them know we sent you. Check out more pictures below from our visit below. You'll see some of the mouthwatering gluten-free cookies, sandwiches and some pictures of the restaurant's beautiful design. Don't want to dine in? Call ahead or order online for quick and easy pick up!
