From a small hobby in the house, to a garage, to the Bank of America building, Charming Events has grown leaps and bounds over the last five years. With a new location at Dallas Farmer's Market, the family owned and operated shop is run by Alicia and her mother, Teresa. As a single mom at 29, Alicia knew that she wanted to be her own boss, take control of her day to day and embrace the creative side she tucked away for Corporate America. In an "ah-ha" moment as she describes it, she thought of her strengths and talents and birthed the idea of Charming Events and hit the ground running.
Inspired by her grandparent's timeless love affair, Alicia allows her passion and creativity to shine and radiates throughout the shop. Housing quite an eclectic collection of small gifts, field to vase flowers and even a small bar that allows you to sit and enjoy a conversation while constructing your perfect arrangement, every interaction you have will make you feel like you are apart of the family.
Every time we enter the ambiance, the customer service and the quality of products consistently exceeds our expectations. Housing gifts from $2 to over $200, home decor, faith-based items and hosting events and workshops like creating your own Thanksgiving centerpiece, Charming at the Market is so much more than a flower shop - it is truly a one-stop gifting shop.
We first worked with Charming Events at our Dallas Blogger Meet Up in November and they did not disappoint.
