Let's be honest, whether you've had a bad day at work, want a chill date night or a reason to cancel plans, in our society Netflix is our go to for almost everything. This weekend mix it up a bit and instead of watching the "Diversity Day" episode on The Office for the100th time (no shame we've done it too), order your UberEats; cozy up and get ready to binge watch 5 of our favorite Netflix shows!
1. GLOW
Filled with all the 80's glam you can imagine (yes -Jane Fonda leotards and big hair included) and a 96% rating on Rotten tomatoes, this dry-humored comedy is sure to be a hit in your house. The plot of the show follows the journey of a struggling actress (Alison Brie) who finds an unlikely big break in the new world of women's wrestling.
2. Explained
Vox has partnered with Netflix to create an engaging and extremely enlightening series that explores a variety of topics such as the rise of cryptocurrency, why diets fail, and the racial wealth gap. In an age where misinformation runs rampant, these 15-20 minute documentary style videos are great ways to understand the history behind a lot of events occurring in our culture. With no official rating for Rotten Tomatoes, viewers have weighed in giving the series a 90%.
3. One Day at a Time
If Golden Girls and Everybody Meets Raymond had a baby, it would be One Day at a Time. Following the life of an Army Veteran and single Cuban-American mother, the revamped1975 series, reminds us of the beauty that our cultures, families and friendships bring into our lives as we navigate the ups and downs. It also has a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
4. The Crown
History fan beware, this is one Netflix original drama that will quickly have you glued to your seat. Following the political rivalries and romance of Queen Elizabeth II's reign and the events that shaped the second half of the 20th century, this dramatic series is earned an 89% on Rotten Tomatoes.
5. Chef's Table
Calling all Foodies!!! In this mouth-watering Emmy-nominated series, follow the lives and kitchens of various international culinary stars who are redefining gourmet food with one of a kind dishes and mesmerizing desserts. With a 93% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it seems that almost everyone is a fan.

GG88 mình cũng mới ghé thử vì thấy bạn bè nhắc hoài, kiểu vào xem cho biết thôi chứ không định đọc hết. Vừa mở lên là thấy giao diện khá gọn, tông nhìn hiện đại mà không bị rối, nên mình không phải đứng hình tìm chỗ bấm. Mình thích nhất là cách họ chia nội dung theo từng khối rõ ràng, lướt xuống một chút là nắm được bố cục chung rồi. OK365 mình lướt thử vì thấy bạn bè nhắc, kiểu vào xem giao diện ra sao thôi. Ấn tượng đầu là trang nhìn thoáng, chia khối nội dung rõ nên mắt mình không bị “ngợp” như mấy web nhồi chữ. Mình không đọc kỹ từng phần, nhưng cái bảng thông tin họ trình bày theo cột khá gọn, nhìn cái là nắm được ý chính, khỏi phải kéo lên kéo xuống nhiều. This was a nice read because it stayed simple and didn’t feel like it was trying to cram in a bunch of jargon. I liked how it explained the reasoning behind the tips instead of just tossing out a checklist, and the quick examples made it easier to picture in real life.
