Dallas Morning News recently published an article that stated more than 40% of households in Dallas are struggling to make ends meet, according to United Way. This means the struggle out here is REAL and that can make holidays like Valentine's Day extremely hard to celebrate especially when there's external pressure from social media to showcase your gifts and it can become a competition.

If you are not the best cook, Klyde Warren has an on-site restaurants for food and wine as well. The weather forecast predicts the high in Dallas should be 61 and the low 48, so be sure to bring a light jacket.

The clues can lead to a home-cooked dinner with flowers or a few presents at a the most significant location. Bonus Tip: Make the evening extra special by buying strawberries and chocolate dip from the grocery store and making hand-dipped chocolate covered strawberries or get small candies to leave along the way

Then, go to the beer and wine section and find a few local or craft beers that you think would accompany the flavors of cupcakes you have chosen. If your S.O. isn't a big beer fan, you can do the same concept with wine. Head to Pinterest for ideas of what flavors compliment which blends.
